The Chapel Hill-Carrboro Public School Foundation offers five sources of funding for projects implemented within the CHCCS schools:
Achievers’ Fund Grants: for small groups or individual students who need additional academic support, opportunities for enrichment after-school, in the summer or post-secondary scholarships after high school graduation. Deadline: September 30, December 15 and April 30.
Classroom Student Enrichment Grants (CSEGs): for classroom or grade level projects. If projects are submitted for a grade level, priority is assigned to projects submitted by Professional Learning Communities (PLCs). Deadline: September 30, December 15 and April 30.
Professional Development Impact Grants: for self-determined professional development opportunities for professional and technical staff. Deadline: September 30 and April 30.
Strowd Roses Grants: across a grade level, school-wide or district wide project. Priority is assigned to projects submitted by Professional Learning Communities (PLCs). Deadline: September 30 and December 15.
International Teacher Travel Grants: for travel to countries that are linked to their students’ backgrounds and/or the teacher’s curriculum. A teacher may only receive this grant one time. Deadline: September 30.
