The Public School Foundation offers assistance to CHCCS educators seeking funding through multiple grant writing workshops each year. These workshops provide tips and techniques to help the grant writer navigate their way through PSF’s grant proposal process.
Members of the Allocations Committee and staff of the Public School Foundation will help teachers match their needs and goals with appropriate funding sources. Attendees will learn how to write innovative proposals that are aligned with the school district’s goals, present accurate budget details, and learn about additional sources of funding such as Donors Choose.
Important dates for applying for grants can be found in the Grant Allocation Calendar. This information will also be announced via school district communications. The workshops are for anyone in the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City School community who is interested in helping a CHCCS educator obtain a PSF grant (including parents, students, staff).
