Nominations for the annual Reckford Teaching Prize are now open until November 15. The purpose of this prize is to reward superior teachers with opportunities for travel, study, or other enriching and refreshing experiences. A $2,000 grant will be awarded to one honoree for such opportunities. Eligible applicants must be a CHCCS teacher who has taught in the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools for a minimum of three years and who has an outstanding record of teaching and inspiring students.
