2011 Educator Extra Credit Merchants

More than 100 area merchants offer discounts to Chapel Hill-Carrboro City School teachers and staff through the Educator Extra Credit program. This program was initiated in 1990 for district teachers and staff in order to give some “extra credit” for the excellent job they do in our schools.

Participating merchants determine the kind of discount they want to offer the district’s 2000 teachers and staff.  Teachers receive Extra Credit discount cards at the beginning of the school year to use when making purchases at these businesses.  The following is a list of area 2010 Education Extra Credit Merchants and their discount offers:
