Student Enrichment Grants (SEGs)

Student Enrichment Grants (SEGs) are the major grant program within the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Public School Foundation supporting innovative classroom projects at the elementary, middle and high school levels. The SEG allocation committee is comprised of Public School Foundation board members, with input and recommendations from school district administrators in coordination with the district’s strategic plan. The committee also performs follow up communication with grant recipients to assure the success of the programs and responsible stewardship of the awarded funds.

Foundation's First 5K for Fitness Attracts 500 Runners

Hundreds of CHCCS teachers, staff, students, parents and friends came out Saturday, April 28th for the first 5K for Fitness organized by the Public School Foundation.

The 5K capped off a six-week training program offered through Fleet Street Sports for CHCCS faculty and staff. Fleet Feet was a major partner in the 5K. Click on the 5K for Fitness logo for race results.
