Jennifer said the following after receiving the award:
It is a humbling experience to receive this wonderful award that honors teachers for excellence in their craft. The attributes that the Zora Rashkis Teaching Chair for Excellence espouses are the true measure of effective teachers. I am honored to receive such an award and will persevere and strive to uphold the attributes of this award through close work with my wonderful colleagues who help me become a better educator everyday. I thank the Public School Foundation for honoring teachers with awards that motivate teachers to stay within our profession.
